The language used by teachers, school employees, and fogeys to talk about autistic college students can send both optimistic or unfavorable messages to different faculty workers, mother and father, and all students—with or without autism—about autistic college students. This article presents the preliminary findings of an ethnographic study in regards to the presence and experiences of scholars of Latin American origin in Spanish universities.
